It's Official – I'm Running For President

Our original plan was to announce this via a twitter message later in the day, but the news has already started to break that I am running for President. We’ve really focused on a grassroots effort here in Austin, and we hope to be on the ballot in all 50 states in time for the November election.

Channel 3 went with the story earlier today (covering in particular our internet campaign), and so we are announcing the candidacy now. Stay tuned for more info on how you can join our cause!

Late Night Pool Hall

Almost a year ago, I photographed Christine and Erik’s wedding. It was cool because Christine had a couple of dress changes that were very unique.

Christine and Erik play a lot of pool, and Christine asked if I would photograph her in that environment. We hit up their favorite pool hall and started shooting last night around 9PM. Luckily there weren’t too many people there as I was popping 2 or 3 strobes at a time, although one or two people were taken off guard initially and laughed about how bright it was.

Trevor's Birthday Announcement Preview!

The Boys Of Summer

Baby Chandler

I had the opportunity today to photograph a beautiful baby named Chandler, and she’s pretty cute! We were trying to figure out who she resembled more (mom or dad) but so far we are undecided. Here are some favorites.

Jenn, Hayes, And The World Championship of Style

Jenn and Hayes are on to something. They’ve started a business based around internet shopping called Appozite, and they’ve just released the first website under the new brand (Zitefight.com). In case you missed hearing about it, Zitefight pits 2 pictures against each other, with one voted as the most stylish! Users upload their pictures (or, ‘fighters’) to compete, and the community votes on them.

Jenn asked me to take some new portraits of her to promote her business, and so we set up at her house in front of a cool bookshelf that was decorated with multiple colors. Her husband Hayes, who is the technical marvel of the company, sat in for a few shots as well.
