The Austin band Feeding 5000 shot a video this weekend for their song Books off their cd titled The Books We Read (iTunes, Amazon MP3 Store).
While the set was being built for the video, they asked me to come down and take some shots there. We did some group shots, and then captured each member individually, holding up a book (or a couple of books) that were important to them. Here are a couple of shots:
If you check out their cd, my favs are Sing Out Loud, Drive, and Carry On. I hope to do more shoots with them in the future. We’ve talked about several projects that they are working on that don’t just involve their music, but community involvement as well, and ways to tie it all together. The video should be completed within a month or so, and I’ll post a link here when it’s ready.
