Jen + Walt

Jen and Walt were married in Austin yesterday. It was a very intimate ceremony which started at St. Louis church, and then made its way to the Driskill Hotel downtown for the reception. I’ve had an opportunity to shoot at the Driskill several times, and I love coming up with new ideas for every couple that goes there!

Walt dabbles in photography, so a spent a good amount of time convincing Jen that he needed some new lenses!

The job of a flower girl is so demanding these days.

The Blue Diamond Orchestra provided the kickin tunes. There must have been 7 or 8 people in this band.

One of my favorite shots to do at the Driskill. I don’t know how many times this head has been photographed.

I love this shot on the patio. If you look closely you can catch a bus streaking by in the background.

Jen and Walt did something funny with their napkins. They mixed their last names together and came up with 2 variations. Then, they printed these on different colored napkins and asked the guests to vote on which last name they like the best by placing a napkin into the matching ballot box! How cool is that? Unfortunately there was no write-in option available.

Congrats to Jen and Walt! They had a BBQ luncheon today at the Salt Lick (mmm…bbq). Their headed to Costa Rica shortly, and I look forward to seeing Walt’s pics from the trip :)
