Nikki

Nikki is a model/actress in Austin, and a great friend! She needed some new headshots/fun shots a month or so ago, and yesterday we got to take some more great photographs. We shot for almost 4 hours, and the hair and makeup was handled by Gina Mertz of www.glamorousbrides.com. Gina did an *outstanding* job helping out, and if any of you are in need of hair and makeup for you or your bridesmaids, she’s the one to see in Austin! The flowers were provided by Westbank Flowers (they are my go-to place now for flowers for Lisa as well :) ).
The dress was provided by Unbridaled, which is an excellent store to find the latest looks for your wedding. Both Kim and Jill were very helpful! We decided to go with a dress that was featured on the recent Tribeza magazine cover, and here are some of my favorites!

Here’s the shot that started it all - I wanted to reproduce the pose of a sculpture by Ragir titled “Danielle”:

We took a couple infrared shots as well, with a specially-converted camera!

We wrapped it up with some standard ‘anti-bridal’ flair - a ringflash in the shower!

If you like the ringflash look, let me know and I’ll be happy to bring it to the wedding/shoot!
