Joy, a ballerina that I photographed last year, has been profiled by the New York Times today. She has been training at the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow, and you can watch a great video of her story on the NYT site here.
Here are some of the shots we took last year:

Way to go, Joy!
Had a lot of fun shooting Tiffany Taylor for the April issue of Austin Woman Magazine. Tiffany started the incredible Tiff’s Treats cookie store in Austin. Now there are several locations in Austin and Dallas.
We had several prop/stunt cookies, but unfortunately several broke during the shoot and needed to be destroyed/consumed.

Today I’ve rolled out some new site updates which I am excited to share! Here’s what’s new:
- Separate sites: Weddings have now been moved to their own site at doggettweddings.com. Commercial/editorial/portrait work will remain at doggettstudios.com. Both will share the same blog.
- Updated Look: Both sites have a cleaner look, with larger, sharper images and less clutter.
- More images: Each site now has over double the amount of images (36!!). Check out all the new additions!
- Interviews: Each site also features over 20 minutes of audio interviews I’ve conducted with past clients & brides. Just click on “Case Studies” on the portrait site, or “Bridetalk” on the wedding site.
A big thanks to all of those that volunteered for the audio interviews – they came out great!
The new issue of Austin Woman Magazine is out, featuring our cover story shoot of Carol Ann Sayle. You can find the magazine throughout town, and you can also view the issue here.
Carol runs an organic food farm just a few miles from downtown, and we had the chance to enjoy some tasty lettuce while we were there.

Irene Williams is the CEO of 21st Century Technologies, and she was the cover story for the March issue of Austin Woman Magazine.
We had the great fortune of finding a incredible house to shoot in, complete with an indoor waterfall!
